Court Rules

Highland Ridge Tennis Court Rules
  1. Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates/blades, riding toys and pets are all prohibited from the courts. The courts are to be used for TENNIS ONLY. Any and all other activities are prohibited.
  2. Proper non-marking tennis shoes must be worn on the courts.
  3. Proper tennis etiquette is required at all times.
  4. Guests may use the courts when accompanied by an HRHOA member in good standing. RESIDENT NON-MEMBERS AND MEMBERS NOT IN GOOD STANDING MAY NOT USE THE COURTS AT ANY TIME.
  5. Players under the age of 16 (Juniors) shall yield the courts to adults, upon request, after 6:30 pm on weekdays. Juniors playing with an adult are not bound by this rule.
  6. Adults shall yield the courts to juniors on weekdays from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
  7. Parents are responsible for their children.
  8. Children under 10 should be accompanied by an adult while playing.
  9. No food or glass containers are permitted on the courts.
  10. All players are responsible for cleaning up their own trash after playing.
  11. The tennis courts may not be reserved for private parties. Approved HRHOA tennis functions are permitted.
  12. Failure to adhere to Tennis Court Rules may result in a written warning. Further violations will be subjected to Board review and possible loss of tennis privileges.
ALTA & USTA Team Policies
  1. ALTA and USTA matches and practices will take priority over reservations and walk-on play and will generally be posted in advance.
  2. Each team is limited to one official practice per week for no more than 2 hours.
  3. Each season, captains must submit their team roster to the Highland Ridge tennis coordinator before scheduling practice times. The coordinator must confirm that each player is current on their dues and that non-residents have paid their fees.
  4. There is a $25 fee per player per season for non-resident team members. There is $50 per year max for non-resident player fees per player.
  5. Non-residents are permitted on Highland Ridge ALTA and USTA teams. Team captains must ensure that at least 50% of their roster are HRHOA members per season.
