New Mixed Doubles Tennis Team

Several neighbors have asked about the possibility of starting back a mixed doubles tennis team. The season plays on Saturday at 9:00 am and can last 3-5 hours for about 6 weeks.

We need a minimum of 10 men and 10 women to work around vacations. You may not play with your spouse/partner depending on the needs of the team. Each week 5 lines of mixed doubles will play. Your spouse/partner does not have to join.

We also need someone to act as the captain and co captain which puts out the lineup and coordinates with opponents.

Practice will be on Monday evenings and is not mandatory.

Lessons can be arranged if enough people are interested.

Alta requires a $30.00 registration fee that is good for a year.

Please fill out the google form below if you are interested.

HRHOA Annual Meeting

The HRHOA Annual Meeting will be held this Saturday, October 26, 10:00 am at the Tennis Pavilion. Each member household received a hand delivered packet containing a cover letter, last year’s budget vs. actuals, along with two proposed budgets for the upcoming year as approved by the Board.

It is important that at least one homeowner per member household either attend the meeting to place your vote or complete the proxy. To print the proxy follow the link below (the link contains the ballot as well). The proxy was also included in the hand delivered packet.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, please complete the proxy and deliver to the Pool mailbox. Simply assign the proxy to someone you know will be at the meeting then that individual will vote as they see fit. If you fill out all the options you want voted on yourself, then the proxy stands by itself and no one can change your vote. However, it must be assigned to someone.

Thank you,

HRHOA Board

Progressive Dinner Anyone?

The Social Committee will be hosting a Progressive Dinner on March 28th and all adult homeowner HOA members in good standing are invited.

Please make your reservation TODAY.

Let us know how many (one or two adults), and if you are willing to host or bring food. Details will be provided as the date gets closer.

Never been to a progressive dinner? Here is how it works:

Neighbors either volunteer to host in their homes or to provide a dish (appetizer, salad, or dessert). The HOA will provide tea, water, cups, plates, napkins, name tags, plastic forks and the entrée. We all meet at the first home (appetizers) to eat and drink (BYOB, several people bring coolers).  After appetizers we all walk (or drive) to the next house for salad.  At the salad house we split into groups to go to the entrée houses. (No one has ever hosted everyone in one sit down dinner so we split into as many groups as necessary.) The HOA will provide a basic entrée.  After the entrée we move to the dessert house. Everyone gets to meet back up to continue conversations. People leave at any time they choose (an end time is designated).

We hope you will consider joining us! Please let us know if you are interested in attending and if you would like to provide an appetizer, salad, dessert or open your home as one of the stops. This is truly a fun evening and a great way to get to know the new neighbors.

Please RSVP Today! Save the Date!
